I think that clerk lucked out big time. Pam could have punched her in the eye…after all, bad customer service can irritate even the best of customers. In America, you have the right to complain about poor customer service. Unless you live in Sandpoint. I don’t think there is any here.
I surely hope you have posted your story to the Walgreens customer service site. I know action will be taken. If you need tips, I do it all the time for positive and not-so-positive custotomer service.
I feel your pain, Pam. Yesterday I shopped at Publix, and just as the cashier was finished ringing up my 6 brown bags worth of groceries (already bagged), her computer died. They ended up taking me to the cash register next to hers, and had to RERING every item I had. No “Sorry this happened” or “Here’s some free gum on us”, NOTHING. I had to stand there while they emptied each bag and redid everything. I was shocked that I didn’t receive a single apology. I think all this rain has really dampened (hah hah) everyone’s attitudes.
