Two things I want to point out that I think were fun...
First, rather than hang the letters for Reagan's name on nails my mom suggested that I use drawer pulls. I thought that was a cute idea.
Second, this lamp was just a basic white lamp with a white lamp shade. Instead of spending $40 on the lamp that goes with the bedding I spray painted this lamp brown and added decals to the lamp shade.
So fun. Believe it or not, this is the first baby room I've ever really decorated. With each of the boys we were in housing transition so I never really invested in a cute nursery. I've had a lot of fun with this one.

Love the lamp idea. I’ve painted several lamps and one chandelier that way and have great outcomes. You can get some great lamp deals at yard sales and thrift shops.
Her room is adorable! I know that took a ton of time. Stripes are a NIGHTMARE!
I love the pink and brown together! That’s been my new favorite color combination lately whenever I create my hand-made cards…pink & brown or blue & brown…it’s SO cool looking!! Reagan’s room is adorable and you should be very proud!!! She’s a lucky little girl!!!

Absolutely love the dark brown color; it coordinates so well with the pink. This is also a great color combination for a wedding. I’ve been to a wedding coordinated with the same dark brown and a pale blue that also looks fantastic. Great job improvising with garage sale chair. We all know that comfort is what really matters anyhow!
Patsy, for the drawer pulls I first screwed anchors into the wall. Then I went to Lowes and bought screws that have one end threaded like the screws that come with the drawer pulls and the other end threaded like a normal screw. I manually screwed the “regular” end into the anchor that’s in the wall. Then the “drawer pull” end was sticking out of the wall and I screwed the drawer pull on to that. Hope you can make it work, too! It’s definitely nicer than just having a nail, right?
